Looking to create one of those cool little icons, like the miniature logo I have in the URL bar on your browser?   

Well those are a little file known as favicon.ico which reside in the root directory of your website.  They are 16x16 pixel images that can be anything from a logo to a photo, but only really small!

There is a free tool out there that converts photos to favicons.  Just tell the program where your picture is and it will create it for you.

You can then upload the saved file favicon.ico (after unzipping it of course) to your www, web, or root directory of your website.   This may not work if you are using a free host such as godaddy or wordpress.com for your blog.  

Note: Once you've uploaded the file you will need to clear your browser's cache (goto the options menu of your browser) then reload the webpage - this will take time as your cache no longer has all the images etc it had before, but then you should see in the URL bar and on your tab (if you are using tabs) your icon.
